I have set the price high on these to screen purchasers.  This is necessary during the summer months as shipping worms in hot weather is difficult.  If you send me an offer at my price of 14.00 I will accept.  By purchasing you agree to work with me if there is an issue in shipping.  Contact me for a replacement if there is an issue.  Opening a case when the postal service loses the shipment or delays the shipment hurts my business and I simply can not continue to sell worms if this continues.  Worms left in a hot mailbox will die.  I include tracking.  Please stay updated on tracking and unpack your worms immediately when they arrive.
50 Red Wiggler (Eisenia fetida) Composting worms Includes directions USA Seller.  Red wiggler compost worms are easy to care for.  They will eat your kitchen scraps and turn the material into valuable vermicast for your garden.
Although this is a small amount of worms if you are on a budget and have time my directions will show you how to build your worms into a giant colony over time.  Ten years ago I started my worm farm with this amount of worms and now have one of the largest worm farms in my state.  I also sell varying amounts of worms depending upon the season.  You can check my other items for sale.
I guarantee live arrival only.  I include tracking.  Please be aware of your tracking info and pick up package from the mailbox when it is delivered.  I can not guarantee the health of worms left in an overly hot or an overly cold mailbox.  Worms get too hot they die.  Worms freeze they die.  They are almost always fine during shipping.  If in the unlikely event you receive unhealthy worms due to USPS issues contact me with clear photos immediately and I will replace the worms.
I raise these in an unheated greenhouse in Alaska.  I include written directions to show you how to overwinter your worms in a cold environment.
I am a small grower of worms therefor I can not compete based upon price with growers in warm Southern states.  What I do offer is a worm which has proven its genetics over the past decade of being raised outdoors in Alaska.  I also offer directions with every purchase.  I do what I can to keep costs down but there is currently a lot of stress on the national supply of compost worms due to a variety of factors and we may be looking at a major shortage of compost worms in the next several years.  Buy now to lock in your supply which you can grow over time.
