Description
This lot is designed to concentrate pennies to help fill Whitman's Lincoln Penny Collection #3. I use a machine to sort out the 1982 to current pennies. Many of these coins will have normal circulated wear but the younger the penny, the more likely it will be Uncirculated. In each lot you will find a good variety of each date and mint mark within the stated range for pennies released for circulation
Lot includes Denver and Philadelphia mint marks at random but tend towards higher Denver concentrations. This is great for you east coasters missing all those Denver coins! My large lots will most definitely produce one of each coin, in good condition too, from 1982-current.
Note that this lot will contain duplicates, and depending on the lot size there may not be one of each for Whitman #3. This is for a random assortment.
I do realize that #3 starts in 1975 not 1982 but the machine is limited to 1982. I do however, offer pure UNC rolls of the same nature designed to fill #3. These UNC rolls go from 1975 to current with a higher concentration of coins from 1975-1982. On top of that I offer High grade rolls to fill Whitman #2 (1940-1974)
Most will grade High VF to low MS
I had one buyer who denied he found any uncirculated pennies as the pennies were mixed up with circulated pennies. I wanted to clear the controversy over the definition of uncirculated coins. Uncirculated refers to the CONDITION of the coins, not if it has literally been into circulation or not, as almost all business strikes have been technically released into circulation. When I state you will find "Uncirculated" coins I am also referring to the condition. This lot will contain coins that will grade in the Mint State (MS) or Uncirculated (UNC) condition (They are the same,) and can be verified through submission to any of the leading coin grading services such as PCGS, NGC, or ANACS, or more simply by local coin shops/dealers. With the exception of some damaged coins the condition will likely not fall below below FINE (F) Most will grade High VF to high AU and even low MS. I include a few extras to account for counting errors and damaged coins as I am indeed trying to create an honest lot of coins that can be used to fill collections. I sell many different penny varieties, other key dates and old coins, as well as collectible currency.
Questions welcome.
Thanks for looking.
