Eight Sleep smart cover
slips and secures over almost any type of mattress, including memory foam and latex, innerspring, air, and those with adjustable bases. In use it pairs with an iPhone or Android app to:
Track your sleep patterns. Eight Sleep has integrated ballistocardiography sensors that detect body movement, breathing rate, and other snooze factors when activated to determine when you're awake or asleep, in and out of bed, and in different sleep stages. It compiles this data into nightly and longterm charts and graphs so you can see trends and explore modifications that might help your sleep improve. You can also team up with the Eight Sleep app on experiments to test and learn how behaviors like exercise and drinking 11 cups of coffee a day affect your non-waking hours.
Warm your bed. Just in time for icebox weather too. The Eight Sleep has dual-zone warming capabilities so you and your alwayssuperextracold girlfriend can choose your own heat settings through the app. Micro-heating elements embedded in the cover supply warmth on 10 different levels, from A Little at Level 1 to Are You Sure You're Not a Reptile? at Level 10. You can also set the Eight Sleep to turn its heat on and off automatically.
Collaborate with some of your other Smart Home gadgets. Eight Sleep can connect via IFTTT to other products, such as the lights, the thermostat, your activity tracker, and your coffee maker. As in, when you hit snooze for the first time a 5:45 a.m., Eight Sleep will tell your Keurig to start popping open those K-cups.
