The Wick Weeder with Ball Valve is a herbicide applicator that provides you the ability to effectively apply herbicides to weeds with no over spray and no drift.
Capable of controlling weeds that are higher than the crop, the Wick Weeder has a low cost maintenance and allows you to wipe herbicides exactly where you want it, no under applications and no over applications, saving you time and money.
Using a wick-style weeder has its benefits compared to other herbicide applicators because wicks are more aggressive on weeds due to their diameter and position. Just place herbicide in the wick tube (remove red cap) and simply wipe against weeds. Apply the herbicide and wipe the 7" sleeve against weeds along driveways, pathways, sidewalks, along fence lines and fence posts, near flowerbeds and other plants, and in vineyards and orchards around newly planted and established trees. When you are done your weed control tasks, do not leave herbicide in the unit. Always rinse the unit clean after use.
You can also use the Wick Weeder with horticultural vinegars for an organic approach to weed control.
This version of the Wick Weeder includes a ball valve / shutoff valve that is ideal for professionals who need to lay the tool, along with other important tools, in the back of their pickup truck without the worry about spilling costly herbicides.
