पुलिस अधीक्षक संतोष सिंह ने बताया कि हांगकांग की एना-ली नाम की महिला के खिलाफ ठगी का मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। शहर के बल्देव बाग में रहने वाले डा. अभिषेक पाल से चीनी महिला ने इंटरनेट के माध्यम से पहले दोस्ती की। उसके बाद विदेश में रुपये निवेश करने का लालच देकर ठगी की है। कोतवाली थाने में ठगी का मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। मामले की जांच करा रहे हैं।

रुपये को तीन गुना करने का दिया लालच
घटना बीते चार-पांच माह पहले की है। जिस समय चीनी महिला के साथ प्रार्थी इंटरनेट से दोस्ती कर चैटिंग कर रहा था। पुलिस के मुताबिक हांगकांग की महिला एना-ली ने प्रार्थी डा. अभिषेक पाल के साथ वेबसाइट वी-कोंटाटके और बाद में वाट्सअप पर चैट कर रही थी। फिर प्रार्थी को मेटा-ट्रेडर-5 एप में ब्रोकर ओर्डे केपिटल मैनेजमेंट लिमिटेड के साथ आनलाइन पंजीयन करके एक खाता खोला और क्रिप्टोकरेंसी को ट्रेडर डाट इंसाफ्स डाट काम पर स्थानांतरित करके पैसे को तीन गुना करने का लालच दी।
आरोपित महिला ने प्रार्थी को अपनी बातों में बहलाकर पासवर्ड और अन्य जानकारी भी ले ली। इसके बाद आरोपित ने प्रार्थी मेटा ट्रेडर5 से 35 हजार डालर (करीब 26 लाख रुपये) बिनन्स के माध्यम से मेटा ट्रेडर-5 पर निवेश करा ली। जब यह राशि बढ़कर दस लाख सात हजार 825 डालर (करीब 81 लाख रुपये) हो गई। तब प्रार्थी अपने पैसों को खाते से निकालने की तैयारी में था। उसी समय आरोपित चीनी महिला ने उसे विदेशी मुद्रा की निकासी में 31 सौ और 4724 डालर टैक्स जमा करने की बात कही। तो प्रार्थी ने इस राशि को भी जमा कर दिया। लेकिन फिर धनराशि निकालने के समय आरोपित महिला ने उसे प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के लिए जमा राशि की पांच फीसद मेटा ट्रेडर5 राशि और जमा करने के लिए दबाव डाली, जिसके बाद प्रार्थी ने खुद को ठगा महसूस कर और अतिरिक्त रुपये देने से मना कर दिया।
